Harvesting Righteousness

Philippians 1:9-11
[9] And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, [10] so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, [11] filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.

An understanding for the meaning of agape love is have a desire that’s for the good of others.

Love must grow.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.

Be a church in a love that abounds in real knowledge and all discernment.

It will take hard work for this kind of love to grow.

Pray for knowledge and discerning love to grow. Search for it like a hidden treasure. God wants to give it!

Paul says all this [selfless] character will come through Christ. It will be to praise and glory of God.

“Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing”
I raise my Ebenezer (symbol to remember God’s presence and help);
hither by Thy help I’m come;
and I hope, by Thy good pleasure,
safely to arrive at home.
Jesus sought me when [I was] a stranger,
wandering from the fold of God;
He, to rescue me from danger,
interposed His precious blood.

1 Peter 4:7-10
[7] The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray. [8] Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. [9] Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. [10] Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
