Here’s a simple recipe that should get you feeling better after some time. Simply mix this together well and drink it. (Tip: If you think you’ll struggle with the taste, you can reduce the amount of water)
- hot water
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- a dash of cinnamon.
Today, I saw the label of a lowfat yogurt had changed — it now said “No Aspartame.” I thought that’s great that they chose to stop adding that artificial ingredient (which I’ve researched gives health problems).
Then, I saw an ingredient name that I wasn’t aware of — Sucralose. There’s a common name for this ingredient, but I didn’t know it until doing some research. Splenda is the common name for Sucralose. After learning that, I knew it was something I didn’t want to consume. Here are some things a person may experience consuming Sucralose/Splenda:
- Gastrointestinal problems
- Seizures, dizziness and migraines
- Blurred vision
- Allergic reactions
- Blood sugar increases and weight gain
Removing natural sugar and replacing it with something the body can’t break down is not worth the risks. Any common food products you’ve seen Sucralose on other than lowfat yogurt?
